Q: Who will be staffing the after school programs?
A: We hire teachers and coaches from within the local community.

Q: How do we know our children are safe?
A: We perform a background check on every applicant considered for hire, and we require quarterly drug screening for all staff to be eligible to participate in the programs.

Q: Will the program provide transportation?
A: No, parents will need to arrange transportation for their children to be picked up and dropped off around the pre-arranged schedule.

Q: Will students be using the schools computers in the program?
A: No, Youth United provides the necessary computers for participating students.

Q: Where does financing come from for these programs?
A: From grants, local and Corporate sponsors.

Q: Will a snack be provided?
A: Yes, snacks are provided, however the content of the snack is coordinated with all parents to avoid allergies and safety concerns.

Q: Are first and second grade children too young for the program?
A: No, All children are welcome. Younger children will be grouped with their peers.

Q: Who will be staffing the after school programs?

Q: What type of conditioning programs will the child be participating in?
A: These programs have been designed with the younger youth in mind. Dr. Al Biancani and Andrew Fresques (Department Chair/ Physical Education & Health at West Lake High School) worked with Youth United / FSA to help design these programs.
